Every GeoJSON feature in the curated hierarchical per-class files carries a set of PSGC enrichment properties alongside the original NAMRIA source attributes.

PSGC enrichment properties

Each feature carries:

  • psgc_id — stable entity URI
  • psgc_code — 10-digit Philippine Standard Geographic Code
  • psgc_name — canonical name
  • psgc_status — e.g. existing
  • match_confidence — exact | huc_map | fuzzy

Source NAMRIA attributes

The original NAMRIA shapefile attributes are preserved on each feature (e.g. ADM4_EN, ADM4_PCODE, ADM3_EN, …), so a feature can be joined back to either the PSGC or the NAMRIA identifier space.

Match confidence

The match_confidence field records how a feature’s PSGC code was resolved:

  • exact — direct PSGC code match
  • huc_map — resolved via the HUC mapping
  • fuzzy — matched by name similarity (lower confidence)

See HUC mapping for why HUCs need special handling, and coverage for per-level match statistics.
